Annual review and planning meeting
NEST conducts annual review, planning and budgeting meeting each year. Then, based on the outcome of the participatory planning and budgeting meeting, next years’ plans and budget are determined.
Knowledge management and publication of annual report
NEST publishes its annual progress report including audited financial report as a part of promoting good governance: accountability, transparency and social inclusion. It is also a knowledge product of NEST and makes transparent of NEST program and expenditure.
Website redesign and update
In this digital age, website is the most powerful means of communication. At this age, no organization can survive without having professionally designed organization’s website, face book and twitter. Therefore, it is very much needed to updating NEST website on regular basis. There should be budget for this website updating business.
Membership renewal and general assembly (GA)
It is mandatory to renew the general assembly membership before the general assembly holds. Therefore, each GA members must renew his/her membership to take part in GA. For this, staff contact the GA members individually and reminds them for renewal of membership. Similarly, if the EC decides to increase the GA membership, NEST adds new members following the gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) principle. As per the NEST constitution, a public notice is issued 15 days before GA date to ensure all members participation.
NEST day celebration
NEST celebrates its annual day on its auspicious establishment day and it also provides the unity and integrity among and between general members, executives and stakeholders. The celebration date is Chaitra 12 of each year.
