SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT UNIT (SADU)

The Sustainable Agriculture Development Unit (SADU) is also one of the technical program units in NEST which works to transfer knowledge and skills related to agriculture at the grassroots level and provide necessary support to its diverse clients via training and consultancy services.

SADU has focused its intervention in organic agriculture and food security. It adopts field-based (practical) training using participant-friendly methods to conduct and facilitate trainings as well as to execute consultancy and research services.


Achievement: Fiscal Year 2065/66

  • 22 trainings conducted
    • 9 in Full Scholarship
    • 13 in Partial Scholarship approaches
  • 1538 trainees were trained
  • Covered 2911 trainee-days, representing 18% of the total trainee-days achievement
